The demands of Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) are as follows:
- Establishing a policy for the regularisation of service in pay scale in regular posts for GRS, along with service benefits such as DA, Gratuity, Retirement benefits, Accidental benefits, and Medical Benefits.
- Ensuring the benefit of the Minimum Wage Act by the Ministry of Labour and Empowerment, Government of India, and "equal pay for equal work" for GRS.
- Providing centralized remuneration based on qualifications and directly from departmental funds instead of the MGNREGA administrative fund via the concerned state government.
- Establishing a Centralized Human Resource Policy for Service Development and Welfare for GRS.
- Establishing a policy for utilizing the service of GRS at the concerned state level as per the guidelines of MGNREGA, Ministry of Rural Development, and Government of India.
- Establishing a policy for reservation in regular in Gram Panchayet as qualification and seniority.
- Ensuring the job security for 60 years and minimum remuneration (Group-C Contractual) declared by the Hon'ble Chief Minister (Vide Memo: 1107-F (P), Dated: 25/02/2016) till now.
- Providing all pending increments and technical training incentives from March 2019.
- Fixing the issue of insufficient, abnormal, and irregular incentives for geo-tagging in Phase I and II.
- Providing a monthly travel cost or travel allowance (TA).
