We work in various Gram Panchayat Offices in every block and district in West Bengal as Gram Rojgar Sahayaks, previously known as Gram Rozgar Sevaks (GRS), under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, and the Department of Rural Development, Government of West Bengal. We are employed as dedicated MGNREGA staff in all Gram Panchayats in India to ensure the successful implementation of MGNREGA for socio-economic development through rural development and employment. To ensure the successful implementation of MGNREGA, we work at ground level on all MGNREGA-related (technical and non-technical) works, as well as other departmental works as directed by higher authorities.
