About WBGRSA

Our association is a completely non-profit organization. We fight for the welfare and development of contractual employees working under different Gram Panchayat offices in the state of West Bengal. Our goal is to ensure a healthy future for ourselves and our families. We demand dignity, a peaceful working atmosphere, and earnings that can at least secure the future of ourselves and our families.

About the Association:

In 2011-12, the association was registered as the West Bengal Gram Rozgar Sevak Welfare Association under Registration No-S/1L/84653 through the West Bengal Society Registration Act-1961, Section XXVI (Government of West Bengal). The association is now registered as the Bengal Gram Rojgar Sahayak Association under registration/deed No: IV-1903-01649/2019-19/03/2019 Dated: 19/03/2019, Section 60, Rules 69, Volume No: 1903-2019, Page No: 58169-58204, through the Indian Trust Act (1982) and West Bengal Registration Act (1962).

Aims, Objectives, and Functions of the Association:

The objective of the Association is to establish for the development and welfare of Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) in West Bengal. The aims and objectives are as follows:

• Welfare and service development of Gram Rojgar Sahayak.
• The association should conduct the formation of different types of committees at the state level, district level, and block level for the welfare and development of Gram Rojgar Sahayak.
• To engage in the necessary designated and deployment of duties for the development of members.
• The association can submit letters, memoranda, demands, and requests to any government department of GoWB & GoI.
• The association can organize any activity or program for the welfare and development of Gram Rojgar Sahayak in any area in West Bengal or across India.
• The association can provide financial support to any Gram Rojgar Sahayak (who has valid membership in the association) for any treatment, death, etc.
• The association can provide legal assistance for its members.
• The association can set up an office in any area of West Bengal.
• The association can operate the official website and a social network for better communication and community development.
• The association can make contributions, in any amount, membership fee, and conduct any financial transactions for the welfare and development of Gram Rojgar Sahayak.
• The association can run a website and social media for the welfare and development of Gram Rozgar Sahayak.
• The association can open and operate a bank account in any nationalized bank within the country for the necessary activities of accounts and finance.
• To make rules, regulations, and bye-laws for the conduct of the affairs of the association and to add, amend, and vary these from time to time.
• The association may take any step as per the resolution of the State Committee or Executive Committee.
