About Welfare Fund

The West Bengal G.R.S Welfare Fund (WBGRS Welfare Fund) is a unique and essential initiative for the welfare and development of the GRS community. This fund is a part of the West Bengal Gram Rojgar Sahayak Association (Bengal Gram Rojgar Sahayak Association) but will act separately through the Welfare Committee under the jurisdiction of this Association. The objectives of this fund are as follows:

  • To provide financial help to economically weaker Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) and their families in case of adverse situations, such as natural calamities, etc.
  • To provide financial help to economically weaker Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) for the treatment of severe ailments or in case of accidental issues.
  • To provide financial help to the family of economically weaker Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) in case of his/her untimely death.
  • To provide financial help to economically weaker Gram Rojgar Sahayak (GRS) for legal assistance in case of any complications regarding his/her job.
  • Financial assistance may be given to distressed people during any kind of natural calamities or disasters.

The West Bengal G.R.S Welfare Fund (WBGRSWF) is also affiliated under the West Bengal Gram Rojgar Sahayak Association (Registered as Bengal Gram Rojgar Sahayak Association, vide registration/deed No: IV-1903-01649/2019-19/03/2019 Dated: 19/03/2019, under the West Bengal Registration Act-1962). We have achieved some success, which is as follows-

  • Registered the Association under the West Bengal Society Act & West Bengal Registration Act.
  • Launched the Association's official website and all necessary social media platforms.
  • Established the Association’s centralized bank account with an online payment system.
  • Obtained the Association’s PAN & TAN under IT Act-1961.
  • Registered the Association under 12 A & 80 G (section 5) by the IT Act-1961.
  • Implemented online membership with an online payment system through a dedicated payment gateway platform.
  • Implemented the WBGRSA-Integrated Financial Management System to maintain transparency and accountability of the financial and accounts system of the Association.
  • Completed the Audits of Accounts, TDS deduction, submission of the ITR, and other necessary financial reports through a CA/Accountant regularly.
  • Established the WBGRS Welfare Fund and registered the Welfare Fund as an autonomous setup under Gram Rojgar Welfare Foundation for financial support (Death Compensation, Legal Assistance, Medical treatment, and others).
  • Included the EPF scheme through the submission of Letters/Memorandum/Grievances along with hearing in the EPFO office.
  • Withdrawn the service condition of 15000 maydays in every financial year through the submission of Letters/Memorandum/Grievances to the concerned department.
  • Introduced GEO tagging incentive system through the submission of Letters/Memorandum/Grievances to the concerned department.
  • Introduced a death compensation system through the submission of Letters/ Memorandum/Grievances to the concerned department.
  • Conducted regular programs and activities in Block/District/State along with other concerned departments through the submission of Letters/Memorandum/Grievances and grievances.
  • Submitted Letters/Memorandum/Grievances to the Public Representative and concerned authorities regularly.
  • Provided all kinds of official support along with legal assistance to every member.
